Vinny Project -
VINNY Project at UTAD Agronomy Conference
The partners ADVID and University of Minho successfully showcased the VINNY Project at the IX Agronomic Engineering Conferences held at UTAD.
The core of the communication, which directly supports the Project's mission, was a poster entitled "Exploring the microbial terroir of renowned European wine regions to develop eco-friendly biocontrol formulations".
The event was organised by UTAD’s Department of Agronomy from the School of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences (ECAV) and the Student Association of Agronomic Engineering (NEAGRO) with support from CITAB/UTAD and FCT, under the encompassing theme “Innovation in Agronomy: Challenges and Sustainable Solutions.”
The conference featured four dedicated sessions covering essential areas in the fields of sustainability in agricultural production, technologies and production techniques and product commercialisation and valorisation.
Throughout these sessions, the gathering hosted lectures by reference guest speakers and presentations of academic work from undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students in Agricultural Sciences. This platform was an ideal venue to demonstrate how the VINNY Project is effectively translating scientific research into practical situations, sustainable innovation for the agricultural sector.
