VINNY General Assembly: 12 months of innovation in sustainable viticulture
The VINNY partners gathered in Tours, France, for the 12M General Assembly Meeting, a crucial moment to assess the Project’s evolution and reinforce its commitment to transforming the viticulture sector through circular and nature-based approaches.
Hosted by the Université de Tours, the two-day meeting provided a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in each objective, including advancements in biofertiliser extraction, nanoencapsulation processes, safety evaluations, and the design of functional agrotextiles. The reunion served as a platform for knowledge exchange and strategic alignment, with all partners focused on ensuring the successful delivery of VINNY’s mission.
The second day emphasised the impact and long-term vision, opening with final presentations and dynamic roundtable discussions. These collaborative sessions enabled partners to refine their strategies, explore synergies, and collectively define priorities for the months ahead.
To close the meeting, the consortium visited the vineyards of the Institut Français de la Vigne et du Vin, followed by an inspiring walk through the Leonardo da Vinci Park, in Amboise, in the Loire Valley. The setting offered the opportunity to reflect on innovation, nature, and sustainable progress.
